TextToWav is a text to speech converter. Output files can be selected to be in WAV, WMA or MP3 audio files formats.
The voice selection is impresive, with more than 30 different voices in 12 languages, from british and american english to russian, and male or female selection. In addition, the application offers the capability of setting gradually the reading speed, voice volume and even the voice pitch. These adjustments are applied to the final output audio file.
The application can read aloud whatever the user inserts in the main text area, wether is typed or taken from another place (drag and drop), as well as text file open, emails, documents, plain text, web pages, news, reports, etc.
For saving the text to voice conversion, the user can choose WAV, WMA or MP3 output file format. The result files can be sent as email, saved to a folder, burned into an audio CD, transferred to another PC, etc. Is very useful for creating ebooks, send personal reports, add speech to presentations, help for blind or vision handicapped people, teaching languages, etc. |
